As you know the kitchen in my house has been undergoing a few changes since Ike's visit. I am happy to say we are almost completely done! The backsplash was completed yesterday. Today I thought I would show you the fruit of my work re-doing the tops of the cabinets. What used to be up there just didn't seem to go in the NEW kitchen. So even though it took me TWO whole days to get it to that "ahhhh" completed feeling, I finally can say that it is finished. Of course the word finished in my mind means "until I decide to tweak it just a little more"......oh, but you know what I mean! I know you bloggers are crafty, creative people who like me, are Tweakers.
Anyway, enjoy the view, and I'll be back
with some views of the countertops
and backsplash, and the rest of the RE-DO.
Have a great Wednesday and relish the fact that
there are no more political ads bombarding your day!

I'm sorry Ike did you harm, but your new kitchen cabinets are "dressed" beautifully...love your collections! ;-) Bo

Thanks for the comment on my blog.
I love everything! You have arranged it so pretty!
PS Oops is up here in NWArkansas outside of Tontitown.
Nice arrangements on top of your cabinets. Not too cluttered ~ no fake greens ~ nice job. Thank you for sharing your pictures with us.

Oh! It is looking so great Suzanne!! Can't wait to see the rest of the kitchen
Loved the tops of your kitchen cupboards. I recognized some of my favorite dish patterns!! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I perused yours, enjoyed it very much, and I'll be back. Sally
It looks great. I know what you mean about tweaking, it starts immediately upon completion of any project.
The way that you arranged your things looks great. Now, are you one of those people who decorates the tops of your cabinets for Christmas? I'd hate for you to have to undo all that hard work!
Kitchen looks Fab! Nice job with the kitchen knob redo. I bought some of that same paint and have not used yet. Looks like it works great! I went back and read some older post about apothocary jars. I bought 2 really pretty ones just last week at Marshalls and Ross. I too live in Texas so I thought I would share with you. They both even came with Christmas ball fillers. Good luck! Can't wait to see more of your home.
You did a great job Suzanne! I know that area above kitchen cabinets can be tricky but you did it! More pictures please!!
By George, I think you've got it :)
Oh Suzanne, Everything looks so good, I can't wait to see more! Nancy
