A peek at the granite and backsplash....

Just after Tom finished the backsplash I couldn't wait to get the camera! Of course, this is brand new, pristine and without ANY of the accoutrements it takes to run a kitchen. This is why model homes look so great....no one LIVES there or cooks there! So I thought I'd give you a peek before I put everything back in.There are some funny shadows going on from the late afternoon sun, so that's what you're seeing..... Isn't it lovely?

It is absolutely gorgeous!! I know you must be thrilled, thrilled, thrilled! You totally have a new kitchen. Granite is so much fun to look at. I even enjoy wiping off the counters and know you will too. You will enjoy adding your pretties now that you have come this far. Great look!!

It looks so good! Granite countertops are the best. They're very easy to maintain and you can't see a scratch anywhere. I also like how you decorated the tops of your cabinet. So very pretty! :)

Beautiful backsplash. Hubby did a wonderful job installing it too!

Thanks, ya'll. Sher, I WISH it was my hubby that had installed it. It would have saved some $$$. But it was the handy contractor Tom. But he did do a nice job, didn't he?
So come back tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have the pics of it all put back together.
I appreciate ya'll's encouragement!
