The Winner!!!!

What a fun week this has been....except for the past few hours while I've been dealing with someone who completely took MY EXACT WORDS from this post about our new company and posted them as their own on a website they participate in.  I found them quite accidentally, by searching for something and it popped right up.  As I read them, I thought it sounded pretty good, then as I read further, I thought they sounded REALLY familiar....I had to click back to my original  post to find out they were my EXACT words...didn't even change a thing.  I have emailed back and forth with her, but the real truth is she violated copyright laws.  My friend Jenn shared these articles to help, so I thought I'd share them with you.  They contain good material and every blogger should read them.  IF you quote someone, compliment them and ask can you copy part of their quote, and then after you get their permission, give them the credit.  DO NOT treat them as your own words.

Congratulations to the two lucky winners of another one of your generous and much sought after gifts. I am sure they are both so excited.

As for the copying of your words...that had to be so disappointing to you. That would really bother me too. Hope it does not happen to you again. It is always a treat to visit your blog.

Oh my goodness!! What can I say. I am so excited to be a winner. The beverage container is perfect for our summer family BBQ's.
My internet has been coming and going for several days. I was in the middle of reading this yesterday and lost it before I read my name.
Thanks you so much Suzanne for such a great giveaway. I couldn't be more thrilled. And thanks for the kind words too.
I am so sorry someone stole your words...what was she thinking? Thanks for the links, I will read them. I would not want to do that to someone.
I love your blog and look forward to reading it. I'm off to e-mail you, if I can. They are coming AGAIN today to fix this thing.

Oh, girl, I know all about copyright violators. Remember that scare I had last summer? There is not much that makes me angrier than someone who steals another person's work. Hope you got it taken care of!

Congrats to your happy winner! Recently, I received an e-mail from one of my readers telling me that she had seen some of my photos and "exact verbage" on another blog. When I went to the site, I was so shocked to see my photos and wording written as if it were the words of that blog author!!! To make a long story short, I wrote to her and told her to remove it! That is just not right!!!!! Just typing this makes me angry all over again. I don't know about you, but as for me, it takes me a LONG time to write my post 'cuz I wasn't an English wiz in school. I write it and re-write and re-write it again...so to see someone take my words and use them like they are their own, well that's just not right.

I hate that someone did that to you! Shame on them. Must not be southern huh? HA! Love your blog and just think of it as a compliment that they loved your words so much. Hope you have a great week! love ya

Oh shucks... I need to work on my begging skills! I tried!

Congrats to the lucky winners!

I am disgusted by the theft of your words. They are your property, and this person has stolen from you exactly as if she had waltzed into your home.

I read the comment above by the other victim of idea theft. (Janice). I would be so angry. What's worse, when you stop and think about it, it could happen often, and you just wouldn't know about it.

Good thing that I never have much of value to say. Even better that I'm a lousy photographer...

(The second part I'm trying to correct by entering another give away. That reminds me... I need to go and beg a bit more. Trying to do better than I did here...
