Thanks so very much friends for all your prayers and well wishes for Mary. I thought I'd let you know that when we saw her this evening, she was more alert and chatted a little bit, but wore out easily. The results of her MRI will hopefully be done in the morning, and they will see what they are facing. Thanks for your continued prayer.
I thought I'd go ahead and do the regular Friday fives, although most of you will not read them until Saturday....
Play along if you'd like, answer the questions in the comments and we all get to know each other a little bit better.
1. Do you enjoy Daylight Savings Time? What will you look forward to doing with that extra hour of light in the evenings?
2. Do you have a special tradition for St. Patrick's Day or for Easter?
3. Will you get a new Easter dress?
4. What one thing are you thankful for today?
5. What "smell" reminds you of spring? What food reminds you of spring?
Thanks again for all your friendships, and for caring/praying for my friend Mary. God bless each of you!

Sooo sooo glad to hear Mary is doing better. Continuing to lift up their family!
So you've got some questions have you?
I'll see what I can do:
1. No, no, no. I hate losing my hour and it takes me months to find it again. Sometime around October I think.
2. I start buying Easter candy very early. Then I eat it.
3. As a matter of fact, I have my eye on one in the CC catalogue. It's not very dressy, but it will also work great for General Assembly this summer. We'll see...
4. I'm thankful that we serve a God who answers prayer. We may not always like His answers, but we can trust that He knows what's going on. That's enough for me!
5. When I smell mulch I think "Ok. Spring is really here." For some reason when I think spring food I think salmon and asparagus. It's not like those are my absolute favorite or anything, but they are so pretty together.
Have a great weekend!

Glad to hear that Mary is responding and talking. I will continue to keep her in my prayers.
1.Yes, I like it because I have more time to work in my yard when I get home from work.
2.No traditions.
3. Prolly not.
4.Hard to pick just one thing. I guess I would have to say my family.
5.fresh mown grass, lemonade, icebox pies, and hamburgers on the grill.
1. The Saint and I LOVE Daylight Savings Time! (Though I DO miss my hour of sleep that first weekend, but what the heck . . . it's spring break here!)
2. I love what Easter means to Jesus followers! My favorite tradition is calling my mom and then Middle Daughter and saying, "He is risen!" and then hearing them respond, "He is risen indeed!"
3. Nah, not unless I see something special -- and cheap! -- this week!
4. How much Papa-God loves me even when I'm not very lovable!
5. Hmmmm . . . I guess the smell of fresh cut grass? I never thought about the smells of spring before.
OH! And I forgot to tell you . . . GIRL! Those pics of your St. Patrick's Day tablescape take my breath away! Absolutely GORGEOUS!
Glad to hear that Mary is hanging in there.
1. I do like Daylight savings time. I enjoy having more light in the evenings when I get home from work to be outside, take a walk, etc.
2. I like to decorate my house with special Easter items that I have collected. When the girls were younger we always dyed Easter eggs. I still do Easter goodies for my girls in a basket each year.
3. I will probably not get a new Easter dress. I have never been one to have to have a new dress just because it is Easter.
4. I am so thankful for my family. My parents and also my immediate family of my husband and my 2 girls. I love family time together!
5. A favorite spring time smell is just the "outdoorsy smells" or being outside in the spring. Fresh grass, flowers blooming, the smell of a spring rain, etc.
A favorite spring time food is fresh strawberries. I could eat my weight in fresh strawberries. Love them!!!
I love your blubonnet photo! I live in South TX too and was so excited to see the wild flowers in bloon last week :)
1. I love daylight savings time but I find myself staying up too late and having difficulty getting out of bed on time. That extra hour of daylight motivates me to get out for a walk or go to the gym.
2. Do you have a special tradition for St. Patrick's Day or for Easter? NO
3. Will you get a new Easter dress? No, not much of a fan of all the commercialization that has come of this holiday and even less so since I found out the history behind it (not what I grew up thinking it was).
4. What one thing are you thankful for today? Since we are on the subject - the resurrection.
5. What "smell" reminds you of spring? Fresh cut grass. What food reminds you of spring? Fresh salads.
