up to my elbows in X's....

What is it with the cleaning products and X's????? I was thinking about and psyching myself up to do some major cleaning today, and it occurred to me that there are a good number of cleaning products that have an X in their name...hmmm......
Well, enough procrastinating...today on my agenda is to see just how much cleaning I can get done......I play this little game.....I will clean for two hours, take a break, and then see how much I've gotten done and how much left I have to do......I'll be back. Ready, set, go!!!
Have a good day, y'all!

LOL! Suzanne you are so cute! You are right. I had not noticed all of the "X's" in cleaning products before but that is true.

Happy cleaning! *Smiles*

Oh Suzanne, I hope your not cleaning bathrooms. I loathe cleaning bathrooms. I'd rather clean anything! Including my teenager's room. And that's sayin' somethin! Hey, I'm thinking the "X" thing was thought up by a man to conjure up thoughts of strength and might! Just my humble bumble opinion.

LOL, I'm supposed to be in California on vacation but instead I'm in rainy Oregon with a fever and bug. Slept a good part of yesterday and woke up feeling like I needed to clean. Took a swiffer to bonus room blinds and baseboards then my lungs hurt from the dust. I should have left well enough alone. Even when I'm sick I want to clean. :)

Can you come and work on my home when you are finished with yours? You know it is only about a 6 1/2 hour drive!!!.....lol

I think the "X" sound has something to do with positive marketing. No joke. I read that somewhere. :)

Yeah, what's with he "X"? Maybe to make us feel like the product "X-es" out dirt or something. Like ex-husband and ex-wife, if you use the product, there will be ex-dirt???

Quite a profound question to ponder. X can mean ten, nothing,. Maybe on a sale of 1 to 10 it cleans like a ten. Food for thought, I mean it Suzanne. I loved your previous post on Live out Loud. BTW, I have noticed the Texas Blogging Gals. Not many of us Ky. gals, that I can find.

Interesting! I had never noticed those X's before, Suzanne! I like your method of cleaning with a timer. I'm going to have to try your cleaning tip...I'm all for any idea that changes it up a little! Hope you got a lot done! = )

Hope you got your cleaning done :) I need to work on that sometime soon! Maybe they have X's because you X the things off your list when you're done? Funny!

I play a little mind game when I clean too...somehow it motivates me to put a time limit on it. Thats on my agenda for today. I'm not really feeling it yet but maybe after more coffee : )

Have a nice day!

No matter how much I clean, I never seem to ever be done. I always say I'll read a book or rent a movie as soon as I get the whole house cleaned but it never seems to happen. For some reason I feel guilty reading or renting a movie (watching t.v. doesn't seem to count for some reason~or blogging!) when my house isn't just right. I need to give that up~it seems pretty silly now that I've written it! Have a great day.

You're right! I've never noticed this before. Hmmm. . . makes you wonder, doesn't it?

I need to join you in doing some serious X'ing. Wouldn't it be more fun if I could come to your house and X with you and you could come to my house and X with me? What do you think?

Love your post! Did you ever do this when you were little? Pretend to use your cleaning product and be on tv? "And this side of the sink was cleaned with Brand-X while this side was cleaned with SuperCleen!"

Hmm...maybe I should play that game some more :-)

Hugs,
Renee
