Ahhhhh....................................

all those checklists.........checked twice and gone.
all those gifts...........purchased, wrapped and given.
all those food items.....bought, cooked, served and enjoyed.
all those preparations.........finished and checked off.
all those decorations......well, no not put away yet, but will be soon.
A new year, right around the corner.
A fresh, new start, right here upon us.
A quieter house to enjoy, another week with family home but few deadlines or actual responsibilities
Joyful, fun memories, looking ahead, and the grace and mercy of new starts.....
LOVE it...it's priceless!

What about you? What does 2010 hold for you and your family?
We will have our last child graduate from high school and head to college! Oh, am I ready for that?
We will have a few trips in the new year....a few home projects, hopefully a family vacation that could be one of our last while we still have our kids at home.......it's going to be an eventful year!

Looking at the "to do list" it still amazes me how much we get done in such a little amount of time and how fast christmas day goes! Wish the day could last longer!
I took off from work until the
4th!! yeah...looking forward to spending time with the kids and loving every moment!

In February we're going to see Wicked in San Francisco. I'm pretty excited about that! Then looking forward to a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for Bug's 4th birthday in May. Other than that, just praying for smooth sailing! :o)

I haven't really thought a lot about what I want to accomplish in 2010. Our huge new driveway project will start very soon and paying for that will prevent too much travel or other big home renovations.

One think that I'd like to accomplish is to have a more successful deer fence around my garden so that I can have more fresh veggies in the summer. Maybe I should visit some prisons and so what they do. Hee-Hee!

I definitely want to help my mom with the old house that she's renovating so that she can move in as soon as possible.

Enjoy a few days of rest after all of the hub-bub of the holidays.

It is hard to believe how quickly this end of the year is going! Hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas! We ended up on Christmas Eve with about 6 1/2 inches of snow on the ground. It is BEAUTIFUL and STILL here! Our temps haven't been warm enough to get it melted. Maybe today a lot more will melt cause without the proper "snow equipment" it gets a little difficult!♥

I remember that one of my high school teachers said, "The older you get, the faster it goes", and she was right! Is it really almost 2010? Oh, about family vacations...when our kids got married, the vacations just enlarged. Now they include 6 grandchildren!! Linda

It is amazing how fast it all went. Here we are facing a new year and the Christmas holidays behind us. So good to hear you all had a great time together. We did too. I will treasure the memories for a long time. I will look forward to reading your blogs as you journey through this new year.

Looking forward to 2010. I'll be looking for something to keep myself busy in the new year.

So, I've got a few questions for you...

1. How long have you sold Southern Living at Home?

2. Do you like selling it?

3. Do you do a lot of in-home "parties"?

4. Do you sell much over the internet?

2010 looks like the year to undertake the kitchen remodel. I'm still thinking of a clever nickname for it....

Still working on de-decorating over here, but it's fun to get reacquainted with the things that have been put away the past month!

As much as I love all the activity associated with the Holidays, I love the quiet calm afterward. You are facing a big change with the last one leaving the nest. From experience, I can tell you it is hard at first, but then becomes kinda nice to be just the two of you again.
Lots of changes for us in the New Year, just don't know exactly when or what. Will trust in the Lord and accept what comes.
