I'm a little confused, it's working? I thought it died from the previous post. Hope you enjoy the weekend with your son visiting and the birthday celebrations!!!!

Wow! We never would've figured out that we needed to replace a switch. Then again, we don't use the oven that much. It definitely won't die from overuse!

So is that a good thing or a bad thing? :) I would never even think of something like a breaker box switch.

I'm laughing because I know you were excited. But hey...that new oven might have been $2,000...you might need it for something else next week. Yesterday we had to pay about that much to have concrete pumped under our driveway because it was sinking! That was not a fun way to spend money. I put it off for several months until it could not be ignored.

Oh wow. Who knew??? Well, glad you were able to figure that out before having to spend a lot of money.
Have a great weekend. The weather is beautiful here. I am about to go for a much needed walk.
Hugs.

Awwww, really???? SIGH. Goodbye nice new oven...I always secretly hope my washer/ dryer will die so i can get one of those cool tall front loading ones in some amazing bright color. But then I say a prayer of thanks that the old ones are still going strong and I don't have to fork over $$$ for the new ones....It's a vicious circle! :o)

Oh, dream on, girl! One day that old, well used oven really will die. And then it will be out with the old and in with wonderful double ovens! I sympathize with you - I want to replace mine desperately too. Every time I'm at my daughters house I sink to the level of envying my own daughter! She has the most beautiful kitchen with DOUBLE OVENS! I have been using my stove for 25 stinkin' years! Come on double ovens! Well, I didn't mean to get quite so worked up. I just wanted to express that I seriously feel your pain :)

Have a super Sunday...Kathy
