-It is a superior source of antioxidants, even better than red wine, grape juice, cranberry juice, blueberry juice, green tea, vitamins C & E. According to Dr. Michael Davidson, MD, "It's the concentration of the polyphenols that appear to make pomegranate juice the most potent antioxidant in nature."
-It is GREAT for cardiovascular health and prostate health. If you want to read more, go here.
Since I have been dieting, I am adding it to the copious amounts of water I am trying to drink! It is certainly a lot more helpful than all the diet soda I used to drink. It gives the water just enough flavor to help me enjoy ....I don't like to drink a lot of water, especially the amounts recommended! So this helps!
My daughter loves it, too, and I have encouraged her to drink it....every teen can use more nutrition, right???
Other items of the day.....I want to thank Kathy, at Mimi's Garden, so much for mentioning me on her blog and honoring me with this award......she's a sweetheart! go check her out.
This Blog:
"Contains Brilliant Content and/or Design"
and/or
"It's Creator Has Been An Encouragement To Me"And ALSO! My oven is fully restored.....I am trying out the cleaning cycle as I blog, to make sure that is all squared away. Of course, I am not naive enough to think that ONE cleaning cycle will have it sparkly clean.....it will probably take a couple of cycles. So, I am thinking I may have a BAKE-O-RAMA.....to celebrate! It's going to get a little cooler in our area at the end of the week, and I am going to bake something! What shall it be? Apple cake, muffins, biscuits?????? Check back to see what I decide! And I'll be glad to share any recipes.......Take care and have a great day.
I am finishing up my Fall decor, and will share a few little vignettes in a day or so....

I love the flavor of pomegranate juice too. I even like to add some to my green tea. Enjoy!
I am very interested in trying the POM juice...where can I find some?
April, our grocery stores have it near the produce section.
I haven't tried Pom...bet my boys would like it.
Enjoy your cooler weather and baking. I'm heading for San Antonio to visit a girlfriend. Have a great weekend. :)
I have tried Pom! I like it just fine but I like your idea of mixing it with water! I will have to try that.:)
I've been seeing your beautiful face all over blogland in people's comments and I thought maybe God was trying to tell me to get my keester over here and pay you a visit! So here I am, and I love your blog! Kim
Lucky you...I love being a blogger...sometimes it does have its little perks! :)

I've never tried Pom. Always look at it and think, "someday". I need to do it. Thanks for the reminder.
Oh congrats on the word!
As for the POM. I always see it at the supermarket and the bottle looks so pretty yet I have never tried it out.
I'm going to give it a go the next time I see it!
I love POM! Lucky you to score some free POM products.
Looking forward to recipes from your Bake A Rama!
I think I'll have to pick up some Pom next time I'm at the store. It looks good and I like the health benefits.
I'm excited to see what you bake and try out the recipes.

I've never heard of it but I might need to get some to try. It sounds wonderful for you. Can't wait to see what you end up baking.
I haven't tried Pom, but I've been tempted. It really looks good.
The lamp shade that you asked me about...I bought it a few years ago at the cutest little shop that is now closed. I switch the shade out with the season.
I love POM. A few years ago my husband introduced me to fresh pomogranates around Christmas time. What a delicious treat. They are very messy but so worth extracting their goodness.
THose POM drinks are yummy! LOVE when the containers were glass... they were perfect glasses... sadly most have broken!
I've usually like the POM drinks but we just bought the blueberry and no one liked it except me. But it's not my favorite. If you haven't tried it I would do just the straight pomegranite juice - that's yummy!
Congrats on the award!
