These are beach pictures we had taken a few summers ago, when we were all together as a family. I framed them in frames that have a resemblance to driftwood to keep the beach theme throughout. I love this grouping!
This grouping is when my son graduated from high school. We hired a photographer to come to our back yard since we had some little ones that might make a photo shoot somewhere else a little more challenging. Plus it was a whole lot easier and took lots less time!
This was my red Hobby Lobby shelf that I "mis-treated", because I knew the look I wanted but couldn't find it anywhere. I sprayed it with cream colored paint, then rubbed over the surface with Rub n Buff! Love it now! and you can see I like transferware!!!
Lastly, this is in my foyer; these prints my hubby brought back from Paris.....he spent only a few dollars on them (or euros, I should say) but it cost a pretty penny to frame them the way I wanted!! They are VERY valuable to me now! lol!!!

Oh I love your family photos all grouped. What a beautiful family. Your shelf turned out fantastis. Don't you love when you can put on your special touch on things? Thanks for the visit sweetie... hugs ~lynne~
I love those beach pictures, if you've visited my blog you know why haha. I certainly understand about the value of framing, my hubby is a picture framer by trade! I really like what you did with the shelf, I first heard about rub and buff at Jan and Tom's place, I'm going to have to try it. It's a small world isn't it. Funny that we were at the same marching contest! Cait is now at the University of North Texas College of Music. She is in her 3rd year as a Music Ed major. I guess she wants to torture a whole new generation of kids in marching band haha. Not really, she loves it. Thanks for stopping by. Kathy
Love the way you have your family photos displayed!
I once spent $8 for a print & then almost $200 to have it framed & matted. :>O
Happy WOYWW!
Love all your pictures! There is nothing better than pictures of family and friends. Have a great day.

Suzanne, I love the way you grouped your pictures according to the occasions. The Paris prints are my favorite ... the blue background showcases them beautifully!
I am flattered by the sweet comment you left for me at Southern Lagniappe. I would love to write a book about my "adventures," but don't have a clue where to start or who would read it. I do appreciate your encouragement, though.
Sincerely,
Janie
Where do I start by giving you oddles of compliments? I love, love, love the framed pictures from Paris. What a perfect wall for that grouping. Have you been holding out on me? That looks like a gorgeous floral arrangement in your dr. I also love your family pictures at the beach...love the khaki and white and the sand and the driftwood framing. Love your finials, and your painted shelf and your plates! You've got talent, Miss Suzanne!
