More about Paris.....

On the way up to the TOP of the Eiffel Tower...oh MY!!!
Eiffel Tower view at night....Blogger is not cooperating today and this pic is suppoed to be at the bottom!!

I decided to mix in my Friday Fives today on our Paris Tour....and whoever finds all five, since Blogger is not cooperating very well today, gets a prize from me!!! =)
At the Louvre.........................
The next day we spent almost the entire day in the Louvre.....which is massive!!!  I'll show you a couple of pics, but pictures just don't portray the massiveness of  this once Palace turned Art Museum.  It's over 550,000 square feet of art museum!!!  Since it's divided into three floors and large rooms and small rooms, one could easily get lost.  So glad I don't have getting lost in the Louvre on my list of things I did on vacation!!!  1.  What about you, do you enjoy museums???
An example of the gorgeous ceilings in the Louvre!
One hall in the Louvre....look at the size of the paintings!
Outside the Louvre in the Tuileries garden

Venus de Milo
Thinking about a pedicure...oh my aching feet!! =)
2. Have you had a Spring pedicure yet??? Ready for sandals/flip flop weather????

That night, we decided we'd go back to Eiffel Tower since the first time we went, we got rained out!  That was the only time we had to run for shelter because of drizzles!! Blogger is not cooperating with putting pics where I want them, so the pics for this are at the top!

3. Is it rainy where you are today?? Texas needs rain BADLY!! We got a tiny bit this morning!
4. Do you have weekend plans made?  Is there an Easter Egg Hunt in your future???

5.  Do you have any travel plans for this summer or your near future?  I can't wait to get back over to see Catherine, who celebrated her six month birthday this past Tuesday!!! Can you believe how time flies!!???

Suzanne, your trip sounds really amazing. I would love to see the sights you're seeing! I wish I were not too poor and too chicken.

And on that note, I'll do my Friday Fives backwards and start with...

5. Travel plans schmavel plans... I'm not sure the budget will allow much this year. We'll try to do something, but it will have to be simple.

4. Weekend plans do not include an Easter egg hunt, but they do include a luncheon with my luncheon club and a covered dish at church to learn more about the Seder meal.

3. Rain, Rain, go away. We've had quite a bit this year. It's been pretty wet and gloomy. I won't complain, though, we were in a terrible drought not long ago.

2. I'm too ashamed to show my feet to the professionals. I just do it myself. And plus, well, I'm cheap.

1. I do not like museums of art, TBH. I do love living history museums very much. I have never been to the Smithsonian and have it on my Bucket List.

Do I get a prize? Huh? Or am I disqualified for doing it backwards.

You are too much of a blessing to be disqualified, my friend!

I know exactly what you mean about Blogger not cooperating! UGH! I hope you know how much I'm continuing to enjoy reading about your Paris adventures, Suzanne! Can you say...Green with ENVY? ;)

1. I absolutely love museums...my fav. is The Smithsonian ones in Washington, D.c.

2. No, I've not had a spring pedicure yet...unless you call doing my OWN nails one!

3. Not rainy here yet...but it's COMIN'!

4. Don't really have anything exciting going on this weekend, other than a 2nd showing! Let's hope it's the ONE! No Easter Egg hunts for us...our girls are too big...sniff, sniff.

5. Yes, we're going on a week-long cruise in June...I can hardly wait!

Have a great weekend, Suzanne!

Hi there girly....you trip sure looks fun!
1. I like museums but can't spend the whole day there, except maybe the Smithsonian and I could stay there many days.
2. I get a pedicure about every 3 weeks when I get my nails done.
3. We got a bit of rain early this morning, but other parts of Houston didn't...you know how that goes. :)
4. This weekend I'm going to try and catch up on some painting project in the garage. It's supposed to be good painting weather....cool and dry.
5. No big summer trips...just weekend jaunts to Austin, Gulf Coast, etc. However, I AM going to Paris in October and Can not Wait!! Woohoo....

Gorgeous pictures again!!!

I do love museums. I would love to have the luxury of a whole day at the Louvre or the Muse d'Orsay. When I've been though it just always feels like there is so much I want to get to. I'd love to spend a month in Paris!!!

In fact, I had my first spring pedicure yesterday. My little toes just look fab this morning.

Oh my!! Has it rained. Started about 8:30 last night and I honestly think it has rained all night.

I have a busy weekend. Shopping this morning. Dogwood Festival in the afternoon. Church tomorrow morning. Yard work in the afternoon most likely. In between all of that I have to work in the normal weekend chores.

Going to the beach soon!!!
