I took a garden tour.....





At Versailles!! (The Versailles Palace is located about 30 minutes outside of Paris, accessible by train)
Oh my word!!! At one time, it was 1000 acres, I think and they had to sell some of the property after the war.....now it's somewhere in the 800's of acres, I think!  Take a look:



 Since it wasn't full blown spring yet in Paris, the gardens were still coming back to life.  It would be magnificent in the summer, I am sure!

Next time, I'll show you some pics of the INSIDE of the palace!!

Oh my gracious! Versailles? How gorgeous!!! I cannot imagine being there live and in person. Seriously living vicariously through you!!!!
