Birthdays are a time to evaluate, refresh, replenish, reflect........enlarge the pic if you can't read the fine print. Ahem, when you get older, large fonts are a joy in life, are they not????? :)
One nice thing about getting older is that the children are getting older and more like adult friends. My daughter and I had a girls night out for my birthday and it was so enjoyable. We shopped, we ate out, then went by the grocery store and chose our own dessert and picked up a few things she needed for her meeting today at school (happy Birthday Coach L!) .......she missed out on her Bible Study to be with me on her birthday...Isn't that so sweet??? It was a very good birthday! Thanks for all the birthday greetings! It's nice to be loved, no??????

I love a woman unafraid to share her age!

As one southern gal to another - who by the way will also turn 50 in a few months -(and isn't it funny how not so old that seems right now!?)I wish you a year surrounded by all the people, touched by all the moments, and filled with all the things you treasure most. Happy Belated Birthday!

Just stopping by via Darlene and thought I'd leave a comment. Hope you don't mind.

Happy Birthday! It's so wonderful that you were able to spend your special day with your daughter. As much as I miss my kids being small, I truly am enjoying them as adults! It sounds like you do too!

Isn't it fun celebrating with daughters? Yours sounds like a sweetheart!! I love the verse and wrote it in my journal book where I keep special sayings, quotes, favorite Bible verses, etc. but I can't read the last line because of the ribbon. If it's not too much trouble, could you send me what that last line says. Thanks!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I'm behind on my blog reading. Sorry! Love & blessings from NC!
