A new day, a new week..........

If you've followed my blog for any length of time, you'll recognize these adorable faces. In fact, you can read more about them at The Howell Quints. It's an amazing story.......I go and see them every Monday......I am one of many volunteers (maybe the only one who blogs about my blessing!) who have seen these amazing babies grow from 2 and 3 lbs. each to currently crawling and pulling up and learning to eat solid food, etc. To think that some doctors encouraged them to "selectively reduce" the number of babies in Ellen's womb....hmm, which one would NOT make this picture complete???? I shudder at the thought!! I admire all that she went thru to honor the sanctity of life, to put her own health at risk, to honor the gift given them by God. What brave, brave parents! And it's such a blessing to be able to help care for these little people.

Some other news for this Monday I wanted to mention in case anyone else is having this problem, which I'd like to get to the bottom of.......in the case of blogs (some dear blog friends!) whose comment box is listed right underneath the content of the blog, rather than having a link to a different page.....well, I am unable to post a comment on these blogs. It's a relatively new problem, and I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this? They are all blogger blogs, I think, but they don't seem to recognize my blogger account when I try to post a comment. Other blogs that have a "Post a Comment" link to another page, I have no problem with. Some of the blogs I normally read and comment on that I now am unable to are: Lisa at Hospitable Pursuits, Jill at Controlling My Chaos, and New Day, New Season blog....these are just a couple I've noticed. If you have any insight into this, please, please leave a comment......and if I've not been leaving comments on your blogs, it's because I've been prevented. I am still a reader!

I was able last week to get the front yard all into beautiful shape, with no more weeds, some fresh annuals, and some brand spanking new mulch. I'll show pics in a few days. It's so nice to pull into the driveway with a refreshed front yard! Now this week, I hope to tackle the back.......it's a little more intense work. I started last week, and there were actually brambles in some of the flower beds!!! Egads!!! Our property at one time was a large pecan orchard, so it can revert to it's natural overgrown state pretty quickly if left untended.......what can I use to prevent them from coming back, my gardening friends??? So I'll be taming the back yard most of this week. It's a jungle out there! :)
Hope you have a fabulous Monday...I know mine will be filled with happy babies!

Oh the babies are so precious. You are a lucky woman to be able to spend time with them! I haven't had trouble leaving comments, but I have had LOTS of trouble uploading items....very frustrating! It all seemed to start on Friday for me. Maybe today is a new day!LOL Have fun working in your yard!

Aren't those babies just PRECIOUS! They are very lucky to have a wonderful volunteer like you!!

Barb at Grits and Glamour did a post about the very same thing about not being able to leave comments.....my blog included.....so I just had to change my "comments" to open in another window....problem solved!

I can't wait to see your landscape pictures! My yard looks AWFUL!! Hubby has been spending all of his (little) energy on the garden, so our yard looks very neglected and bare.

Have a fantastic Monday!!

The babies are looking like little people now. How fun and sweet of you to help with them. I'm sure they need as much help as they can possibly get. Really I can't imagine!!

I have no clue about the Blogger problems. When I encounter those things it makes me feel so goofy.

I've been doing the same work in my yard. Our house was built in a wooded area. I often think that I'm just barely holding the woods back from the flower beds. Vines with stickers, strange ground coverings, they all appear!

Hi
I went over to Hospitable Pursuits to see if I could post a comment and I did.

If you go over to her blog and scroll down to the comments you will see it says "3 comments" click on that and you can leave a comment.

I get confused all the time because there are so many different comment boxes. I just start clicking on everything...it's how I figure it out.

The babies are adorable and yes, I do peep at their blog often....you are a blessing to the family. As you know rasing children isn't easy and that many all the same age is challenging. God gives us what we need so, your all blessed to be a part of each others lives.

Love the picture and love how you point out which one would you select??? So glad everything is going great with the babies! Sorry you're having a hard time leaving comments. Seems Google is having a hard time lately with just a few things!!! Enjoy your day!!

Oh, what sweet babies!!! :) Those girls' swimsuits are just adorable...I wonder where their mama got them. Michaela Byrd would look cute in one of those polka dot ones. Too cute!! I bet they are glad to have your help. :)

Oh, what precious little blessings! I'm sure it is a pleasure volunteering with this family each week!

Don't work too hard on your yard! That is my task for today, too! I'm catching up on a few blogs, while waiting for it to cool down just a little! :) ~hugs, Rhonda

The babies are growing so big and they are all just ADORABLE!!! What fun you must have each and every Monday!

We have been working away on our yard also. I'm ready for it to look beautiful (with NO leaves on the ground!). Each day it is coming along...YAY

Those babies are ADORABLE!!! I cannot even imagine considering getting rid of one of God's greatest miracles. How blessed they are. ANd how blessed you must be to help take care of them.

I have had that comment thing happen to me on numerous occasions. I have no clue why. Let me know if you find anything out about it.

Hey Girlfriend! Don't hate me for asking this very stupid question, but are you logged into your Blogger account when you are trying to leave your comments? Sometimes I have problems when I think I'm logged in and I'm really not. Like Blogger has been kicking me off and I didn't log off. It's just a thought.

Those babies are precious! I could eat them with a spoon, they're so cute. I love that age. You are one lucky girl.

Simply precious! What a blessing...

I live near the woods and have to "get over" how it creeps into my gardens...my cottage style gardens. My older neighbor passing through my yard one day said...it's that poison oak? (pointing into one of my gardens) lol...it was!

How fun for you to be able to spend time with such cuties!!!

And good job on your yard. We have been doing yard work this week too. It is such hard work, but worth it when I look out the window and things are so pretty!

Have a wonderful week Suzanne!

XOXO
Jen

Those babies are just so cute ... and life is worth fighting for especially for someone who can't fight for it themselves...like babies in our wombs. They are such cute blessings.
