His eye is on the sparrow.....

I've always loved this song, even though it is an old one. And even though these are bluebirds and not sparrows, I still thought of this song when I saw this picture. It all fits together, don't you think?

Why should I feel discouraged?
Why should the shadows come?
Why should my heart feel lonely?
And long for heaven and home

When Jesus is my portion
A constant friend is He
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches over me
His eye is on the sparrow
and I know He over watches me
His eye is on the sparrow
and I know He watches me

I sing because I'm happy
I sing because I'm free
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me (He watches me)
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches (I know He watches)
I know He watches me

(I) I sing because I'm happy
I sing because I'm free
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me (He watches me)
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know, He watches me
He watches me
He watches me
I know
He watches me.

Suzanne,
Thank you for coming by, and your encouraging word from Is 41:10.

Time heals all wounds, and I am on the road to healing emotional wounds. It just takes longer than i wish it would.

So appreciate all the prayers and support form my blog family.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean

PS I love that song too. =0)

Are you home? Hope you had a great trip!

I bought the salt and pepper shakers a few years ago at a local gift shop. I've not seen that line of things since.

Hey, I wanted to let you know that I never heard anything from the company who was supposed to send me information on how to claim the poster that I won in your giveaway. What should we do? Thanks a bunch!
