1. Favorite movie? Do you prefer the theater or a good DVD and the couch? My most favorite movie has got to be *GHOST* but, I've got to say that *NOTEBOOK* runs a real close second..

I prefer watching a good DVD and the couch.. and especially if my hubby is home to watch the movie on the couch with me..

2. Is the sun shining today where you are? Yes!! The sun is shining beautiful today!! It's only 34* out, but seeing the sunshine makes the cold sooo much more tolerable!!

3. What ages are your children if you have any? My oldest son would have been 44 this past Aug., my daughter is 43, our middle son is going to be 38, and our youngest son will be 25..

4.What quality do you admire in your spouse or best friend? The quality I admire in my spouse is... his loving and caring heart that he has..

5. If you were given $1000, what would you spend it on? Gosh, If I were given $1000, I would donate it to St. Jude's hospital..

I really love your Friday Fives!!

Have a great day and weekend too!!

Blessings,
~Lynn

1. Sound of Music if I have to pick just one. I like going to the theatre as long as there are milkduds and popcorn.

2. no and I'm not expecting it to show up...we have the pre-snow gray on tap for today.

3. 21 and 19. Huh? How in the world did that happen?

4. selflessness and a sense of humor

5. one of the umpteen projects that we want to do to the house.

Have a great weekend!

Favorite movie: The Long Walk Home (I show it to my classes every year when we talk about the Civil Rights movement.)

No sun: Another grey day here in Houston.

My "girls" are 25, 27, and 29. (OMG!)

Joyce and I must be married to the same guy! I also love my husband's selflessness and his sense of humor. (And it doesn't hurt that he is the cutest bald-headed man you've ever seen!)

I'd get started on re-doing the upstairs bathroom -- everything in it is original to our 45+year-old house, and it's deperately in need of repair . . . ugh!

I love this!
What a great way to get to know fellow bloggers!!

I love a movie at home on the couch
All time favorite (do I have to pick one?) Fiddler on the Roof

It is a rainy grey day

Children are 26,23,19, and 19 (yes twins)

Quality in spouse I admire: His amazing love of the Lord

$1,000 would be used to redo my bedroom. Although I should be noble and donate it to a worthy cause. :)
Have a great weekend!

Movie: At home on the couch so I can wear my jammies. Roman Holiday.

Sun: Houston, we need to talk.

Children: 26 (wife 26), 24 (husband 24), 19, 17, 15. Grandchildren: 3 mos, 9 mos (Like I would pass up a chance to mention them!)

Spouse: After our first date, I told my mom "He listens to me!". She knew right then that Steve was "the one."

$1000? Plane tickets!

Thanks for the Friday Fives. These are fun!

I have to tell you, my sweet friend...I do not and can not partake in answering those questions... Not there is any thing wrong with them. It's me! Color me crazy, weird, or Katrinaized ~ it's too emotional for me. Forgive me this!

I love you and thank you so much or you inspiring comments. I want A BIG clam shell. Do you and Southern Living sell these? You have so great ideas, I'm so greatful to you for those wonderful suggestions! Keep me posted on more ideas for vignettes! xoxo!

1. I love any movie with Meryl Streep in it! And I'd rather rent the DVD and watch it at home! ...especially if it is a "tear-jerker!" Don't won't to cry in public. If I start, can't stop...gets really ugly! LOL!
