We made a college choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wahoo......we finally have a choice made for Allison's college!  We are very pleased that she wants to go to Texas A&M.  She had narrowed it down to Texas A&M and Oklahoma University, and just this past week, she decided that A&M was her choice.  I am pleased because it's less than two hours away, and I know it is a great school.  Her brother is there, and it has a LOT of good qualities.  I feel good that my girl will do well there!
I am just so glad the decision is MADE!!!

  1. Morning Suzanne,
So glad your baby has made a decision. A good friend of mine graduated from there many years ago. She still talks about God's country.
    Have a blessed day!
    Hugs,
    Tara

  9. Can I send my daughter to your house so you can help her decide? She's a junior and doesn't even want to start looking!

  11. WHOOP!

We have a son graduating from A&M in May and another going into A&M in the Fall. It's a wonderful school with so much tradition. I hope your daughter loves it!

    Congratulations!

  12. Booo! I'm a Longhorns fan, Go UT! ha ha, just kidding, I'm not even in to football ;) We have hopes of our daughter going to A & M (I'd prefer UT just cos it's closer, but she wants to be a vet, so it would more likely be A&M!) but we have about 10 years to wait and see.
    Congrats to your daughter.
    hugs

  19. Congratulations! It is a nice feeling to have that all over with and behind you, now you can enjoy the rest of the senior year. My daughter is only two hours away from us and it is so easy for her to hop in her car and come home for a week end visit.

  22. GREAT CHOICE!! (since our whole family are Aggies) I applaud her choice. Rick and I loved living on campus back in the 70's, and she'll be an Aggie through and through for life. No other place in the world like it.

  23. How awesome! My husband's side are Aggies through and through. My Father in Law being the first in the family that went there. He graduated from A&M in '46. He has great stories of all the traditions, and his ring from all those years ago is something to see!

  24. I am more excited about your daughter's college choice today than I would have been a few years ago. My SIL and daughter's good friends, who just visited in our home for the week, both graduated and are huge fans of Texas A&M. They shared many fun memories, so I am thrilled that your daughter will go there. I just know, after listening to them talk, that she will like it. Oh, and by the way, they met each other there:) So happy for her and you, to have finally made this big decision. I wish her much success and fulfillment.
