Love deeply?

Love anything & your heart will certainly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, give your heart to no one. Wrap it carefully in hobbies & little luxuries; lock it up in the coffin of your selfishness. But in the casket it will change. It will not be broken; it will become irredeemable. The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers of love is Hell. C.S. Lewis

Hug someone today, hold or touch a hand.....express love this day. We are not promised tomorrow.  Live, love, laugh TODAY.

Great sentiment....I try to use this as my montra daily...live it and enjoy it because we never know what tomorrow will bring. Hope you are doing well. I'm still walking and cutting back on as many unhealthy things as I can....How is my friend doing....we are the Moving Mamas.

Very thought provoking thread, Miss Suzanne. You are right on and yes, we do need to be still sometimes and wonder if we are giving as much love as we really should be. Thanks for this great reminder.

So true, so true.

Hubby takes a senior neighbor that is now wheelchair bound and in a care facility out to breakfast often. It's such a treat for our friend and my husband loves this old guy so much, like a Dad. I just know hubby will be heart broken when the neighbor passes away, but it's worth every second of letting his heart lead.

Great quote and much to ponder. Good advice, and I will be hugging grandchildren later.
Read Fridays post, just today and I can't imagine any other reason, than just being busy that I haven't commented. With nicer weather and grandkids games and my recent trip, I am way behind around here. I love your blog and always feel inspierd by it.
I don't get as much housework done since I started blogging, but have been more inspired about cooking, sewing, gardening and home decorating. So guess it is a good tradeoff.
Haven't heard about cake balls before. You'll have to share pictures and recipe.

Amen Sista! I know people are thrown by me because I constantly say "I love you"- seriously, probably 35 times a day to my Hubby and Kids, brother and sister, etc. even my friends. I recently asked my 12 year old if she thought her friends parents constantly told their kids that and she said, "No, definitely not." I thought that was really sad! If something happens to me, I want everyone to know for sure that I loved them!

Great post Suzanne!

A fellow Texan here from Friday Follow! C.S. Lewis really knew how to touch our hearts and our minds, didn't he?
